Η δημοφιλέστερη ελληνική οπερέτα που γαλούχησε τέσσερεις γενιές Ελλήνων, ένα έργο με πανέμορφες μελωδίες, συναρπαστική θεατρική πλοκή και ξεκαρδιστικές χιουμοριστικές σκηνές θα παρουσιασθεί σε ημισκηνοθετημένη μορφή- κοντσερτάντε, συνοδεία πιάνου, με την πρόζα και τα δημοφιλή τραγούδια που άντεξαν στο χρόνο. Συμμετέχουν διακεκριμένοι  λυρικοί τραγουδιστές με μεγάλη εμπειρία στο συγκεκριμένο είδος οπερέτας με εμφανίσεις τους στη  Λυρική Σκηνή και άλλους γνωστούς συναυλιακούς χώρους και φεστιβάλ.

The operetta “The Godson” (Greek Ο Βαφτιστικός, O Vaftistikos) remains Sakellaridis’ most popular work and is regularly performed to this days. It is a comedy of errors done in the classic manner of the French boulevard. It is set in the Balkan Wars.

The  Greek operetta “O Vaftistikos that nurtured four generations of Greeks, a work with beautiful melodies, exciting theatrical plot and hilarious humorous scenes will be presented in semi-staged form – concertante,with  piano accompaniment, with the prose and popular songs that have stood the test of time.
